Name: Cloudystar. Her warrior name is Cloudynight, for any extra info or something...^^;
Gender: Female. (She-cat)
Rank: Leader.
Clan: RiverClan.
Description: With shadowed silver fur and darkened black stripes slicing over her sides and flanks, Cloudystar is often mistaken for a passing shadow, thanks to her lithe appearance and clever camoflage. The dark silver cat appears to have never grown out of that gangly state of adolescence, with long, slender legs that seem to be out of proportion with the rest of her strongly built yet skinny frame. Her paws, a pristine light silver, are small also, guaranteeing success in a swift, sudden dash, whether it be a run for her life or chasing an unwanted intruder out of her territory. Below neat, dark-tipped ears are two dimly glowing orbs, both a shockingly achromatic silver. Her muzzle and the rest of her face is the same color as the rest of her body, if not an unnoticeable lighter shade. Pristine white whiskers top it all off, framing a small light gray nose. Overall, the RiverClan leader is well known for her frequent disappearances and absenses, ranging from everyday Clan life to important times, such as Gatherings.
Picture: [no peekcha.]
Personality: As vaguely described above in the Description, Cloudystar avoids most fellow feline company. Unusually surreptitious, this dark silver tabby isn't your average uncertain cat. No, she's much more than that. Rarely trusting anybody, she gives off a distant, cold air unintentionally, her most frequently used face being an apathetic stare that made you feel as if she could see right through you, right into your soul. Her usual dreams can and will be classified as your worst nightmares, and only her tortured silver eyes hold the knowledge of how it feels to wake up terrified to your very core. Because of these everyday nightmares and many other reasons [which I could go on for days about], the traumatized leader sometimes wishes to die. But, driven by the Clan's desire to survive, Cloudystar has to keep going--for the sake of her Clan. If she weren't so significant in the future of RiverClan, and possibly the other Clans, she would have given up completely. Not that she hasn't already.
History: Cloud's life was what you'd call, well, normal. Her parents were decent, responsible cats; they cared for her well and raised her to be a good cat. Yet there is one little twist. Her father, Aestone, a dark brown tabby, was a rouge. And her mother, Serenity, a former warrior, had been exiled for reasons unknown. You see, before Cloudystar [Cloudynight at the time] could ask her, her mother disappeared. Whether she had died or just couldn't take it anymore and ran away, the secret to her exile was lost forever. As for Cloud's father, well. He had abandoned her long ago, back when her mother had set her in RiverClan territory around her apprentice years. Cloudystar had accepted the Clan's full-fledged hostility without complaint, and eventually the idea of her being a halfblood died down to a low simmer. Throughout her years of growing up, Cloudystar fell in love with the warrior's way of life, so different from the risky, precarious life she had once lived with her parents. It was so safe, so protected here in the Clans. But there was still risks, including the threat of possible war and many cats' examples of hostility ringing loudly in her ears whenever she'd pass. Nobody is quite sure how exactly she had become the untrusting, insecure cat she is now; all they can ask is why.
IC: Two achromatic silver orbs glared around the dark cat's surroundings, focusing on a small mouse ahead. A short, low hiss escaped her barely parted jaws, the light silver paws crept forward silently, soundlessly, as the dark silver tabby tensed her muscles in preparation to move in for the kill. A distant sound distracted her; the black-crowned ears twitched, and she raised her head slightly, allowing her guarded silver eyes to scrape across the clearing once more before she resumed stalking her unfortunate prey. But as her gaze snapped back to the mouse, it scanned over bare ground--where had that dang mouse gone?! She suppressed a frustrated snarl and soundlessly lifted her small body from the crouch that it had been set in. Grr. Escaped again. Now what was she going to eat?! A shudder passed through her dark silver fur as the icy chilled wind ripped past her, mixing her thoughts temporarily with the fits of shivers that it brought. My Clan is suffering because of me. The leader's thoughts tormented her endlessly, making her dark-crowned ears droop in exhaustion and worry. She hadn't been sleeping well lately; actually, it was a miracle if she even got sleep. She couldn't catnap, she couldn't pass out into a deep slumber. It seemed as if she were doomed to live in an eternal awakened state, and she did NOT want that. A despondent sigh left her slackened jaws. She wouldn't be able to take it if her Clan suffered on her behalf.
