Name: Dawnshadow..
Gender: Female / She-cat
Rank: Warrior
Clan: RiverClan
Description: Dawnshadow is a tortoiseshell/calico she-cat. No one can quite decide which she is. Her fur is mostly black, with white splotches and orangish spots the color of the dawn sunlight. Most of the orange spots are gathered along her back, slowly fading into black, giving it the appearance of being shadowed. Her tail has a very distinctive white mark towards the end. Her eyes are brilliantly green, a shade somewhere between jade and emerald.
Picture: Uhh, no picture. ^^
Personality: Uh.. Dawny likes humor. It is veeerrryy hard for her to just have a serious conversation without making a joke. Sometimes, however, she just uses her sense of humor to cover up whatever she's actually feeling. Dawnshadow is prone to depression, and hides it from those who matter most to her, whereas she makes it fairly obvious to the ones she knows less well. On the outside, she is very happy and floaty and bubbly, and outgoing, usually no matter what she is feeling.
History: Dawnshadow hasn't had a bad life, which is why she wonders why she should even bother with depression. As a kit, she lived a nice life, with one brother, and her father was deputy of the clan. Unfortunately, when she became an apprentice, her brother ran away to become a kittypet. Being her parent's only remaining child, Dawnshadow felt an extra urge to be an excellent warrior. Shortly after she became a warrior, her father was killed in a battle with ShadowClan. Dawnshadow tried to be strong for her mother, who had just suffered the loss of her last kit. So while she has had an easier life than many of the members of the clan, she has had a lot of pressure to be strong for the ones she cares about, which is part of the reason why she doesn't show her sadness.
IC: Blinking up at the dark sky, Dawnshadow felt the rain soak into her pelt. She knew that her father was proud of her for being strong for her mother, but she didn't know how she could keep it up. Sighing rather pathetically, the new warrior closed her eyes, holding back everything. She just wanted to shout. But she didn't have the energy or emotional strength. Head tilted down, she opened her jade eyes which registered no emotion. Dawnshadow could mask anything. Almost. right now, if anyone had approached her, she probably would have collapsed into anguished meows. Suddenly feeling very week, Dawnshadow flopped onto her stomach, landing in a puddle. Hopefully no one would notice her mud-soaked pelt. [and that's all I got.]
