Feel the shadows of the past.
Something lost when time has gone too fast.
Feel the wind blow through your fur.
Time is lost, your paws a blur.
What more can you do?
How much more can you give?
Sometimes the pain of loss is too much.
Sometimes you feel you've lost your touch.
You can't go on forever, you know.
But you always give it one last go.
And every time you give it your all.
Yet someone you love must always fall.
Life's not fair, you know it's true.
But the path you take, the destiny you choose, is in the paws of only you.
