Paradise. All wolves have heard of it, no matter where they are, who they are, or what pack they are. Only a handful of lupines dared to search the world for it, but they were hunted down by the humans for intruding on their lands before they could really begin. The search seemed to stop when two scouts reported to the wolves that they'd found all the wolves dead. All hope seemed to be lost. Moons had passed ever since this time, and all the stories were long forgotten, or were forbidden to be told under the circumstances that all the wolves try and search for Paradise. Everyone seemed to be afraid, but they were really just afraid of nothing.
Nearly eight years after that, a rumor began to pass around all the pack lands, that Paradise was found, but was not a place, but a wolf herself. Around that time, there were four wolves who seemed to be especially interested in Paradise. The rumor read that she was a beautiful wolf who was irrisistable to any male, and of course, attracted the first wolf, who had persuaded the second to tag along with him. Another rumor read that Paradise was especially interested in all forms of nature, and loved the idea of having a close family. This attracted the other two leaders, but they didn't know each other at all. Four wolves, traveling separate ways, only to come together a moon later and fight for leadership.
As they met, the pair of wolves who had been traveling together happened to be arguing at the time. They fought as well, but of course, the male gave in. The other two leaders were silent and treated each other with respect, though sometimes using harsh or loud voices to make their points. Eventually, the four wolves sorted out their pack territories, one with no say at all. They divided the territories into groups, but seemed to already have had their names. Venus, the land of water, Aella, the land of wind, Eir, the land of forest, and Medea, the crappy piece of land that didn't seem to be worth much but he'd take it anyway.
These formed together to form the lands of Paradise, but little did they know,
Paradise was watching over them, and helping them out along the road.
