History: Stoneleaf was born in RiverClan to a young queen named Clearpool who took the mate Rippedclaw. Stoneleaf was not the only one in her litter, a brother was born, but he died shortly after birth. The young mother Clearpool raised Stoneleaf with extra care and loved her more fiercely since her son died. Stoneleaf was apprenticed when her mother was stricken with blackcough and died two sunrises afterward. Stoneleaf, then 'Stonepaw' , vowed to see her mother again one day, but not any time soon. When she took on her warrior name, her father Rippedclaw was on patrol and was ambushed and killed by rouges. Living with a broken heart, Stoneleaf stopped eating and sleeping until her mourning was done, and her fellow clan-mates worried about her. With gentle encouragement, Stoneleaf was nursed back to health by her Clan, and she vowed to serve her clan like a queen cares for her kits.
IC: Stoneleaf purred with content satifaction as her paw slapped the water and a fish flopped onto shore. She bounded over to where it landed and quickly ended the fish's life. She gripped the sleek fish into her small, pink mouth and swiftly trotted away from the silent stream into the fronds of leaf-bare weak ferns.
The young she-cat stopped and hid her fish under some particularly crunchy bracken away from the sight of carrion-eating vultures and buzzards. Stoneleaf continued to hunt until sunset approached.By then she had added a scrawny vole, a starling, and a rabbit unusally plump for leaf-bare. Stoneleaf went back to the bracken and picked the fish up. She glanced around, her tiny ears pricked and alert for dangers. Carefully, Stoneleaf trotted along the way she came, her whiskers twitching as the cold winds buffeted her fur.
Stoneleaf arrived back at the camp, weary and tired from her trek. She passed a group of fellow warriors and waved her tail in greeting. She bounded toward the fresh-kill pile and deposited her catch.
