ooc - for me and dream only. ^^;
bic - Deep in the marshy part of Riverclan territory, one loner wandered. She was both a loner in label and in ranks with the clans; she was an outcast, an outsider, and not even other loners dared to wander with her. The cat felt lonely -- even more so without one to confide in.
In a synchronized yet unintentional pattern, four small dark paws made their insignificant impact on the soft, sandy ground next to a clear, deep pond's banks, leaving tiny pawprints behind as the petite dark gray tabby wandered around the territory aimlessly. She paused by the edge of the pond and took a moment to finally observe her surroundings, having been stuck in a tense reverie for the past moments, simply roaming just to roam. All around her, trees shook gently with the wind: tall sycamores edging around the marshy area, weeping willows trailing their long leaves on the ground. There were too many to identify properly, so she simply sat down and etched the memory of the scene before her in her mind. The trees stretched high enough to blot out the sky, making the ground below shady and cool; the sky had been cloudy anyway, with darker clouds in the distance -- a sure threat of rain, possible thunderstorms. The pond's clear surface was smooth, undisturbed. It was a chilly day, even more so since the sun was behind the thick layer of clouds, and the dark gray tabby's fur was short. Her fur was thin, yes, but beautiful in an uncolored, achromatic way. Dark tabby stripes lined her flanks, her sides, running down her spine from the top of her head to the tip of her tail, oozing down her sides to make an intricate pattern that only a tabby's pelt could. The fur beneath the dark stripes was a medium shade of dark gray, merging into darker and lighter shades of silver in different points of her small, sleek body. Her smooth belly fur was a lighter shade of pristine silver, almost as if dyed by moonlight. Her petite ears were the same shade as the rest of her small anatomy, but they were crowned by hardly noticeable splotches of black. Her nose was a light gray color, almost pinkish; but the most saddening, the most heartwrenchingly lonely part of her besides her heart, mind and soul were her eyes. They were a shocking shade of teal, ranging in greens and blues in different parts, according to weather, mood, and surroundings. In this scene, they were intensified in a way, even more beautifully startling when framed by her soft dark fur, when surrounded in the shadows of the Riverclan marshes. Oh, yes, how she loved this place already, even though she had just stumbled across it.
The cat's name...was Cyanide. Cyanide was atypically a lonely cat, considering her parents abandoned her and most cats, loners or not, tended to avoid her. Why, she didn't know -- she never thought of herself as repulsive, even though her mind-numbing depression rang in her ears and prevented her from leading a normal, happy life of a warrior. Of course, she still wasn't a warrior, depression or not. She had always admired the clans, but she didn't want to risk exposure of her secrets...oh, no. Some secrets were better left unsaid.

J U S T S A T I S F A C T I O N . WELL , HARDLY . - - SEAREDHEART OF RC . The sound of falling rain echoed through the expanses, a unique mix of drumming against soft grasses , and splattering across broad leaves . Along with the downpour came a familiar aroma , fresh and crisp . It was almost as if the earth were being revived , cleansed and washed away . The winds were light , and rain fell at a horizontal angle . The air was dense with foggy moisture , and thick gray clouds billowed overhead , blotting out the warm rays of sunlight . The surrounding world seemed to take on a gray hue , a result of the dark and muted colors of the surrounding territory .
The gray tones and hues had taken over in his mind . And the result was ah - mazing . He took in a deep breath , drinking in the fresh scents of RiverClan territory . What could possibly be better than this ?? He was alone . His mind was filled with extraordinary thoughts of faraway things , and places . He felt , FREE . Like he could take a great leap and soar into the air . Then again , Searedheart always felt this way when it rained .
He could feel the moisture in the air , and smell the deep clean that was washing through everything . Searedheart`s pale whiskers twitched in delight , and his green eyes glowed in anticipation . His body felt supercharged . There seemed to be electricity pulsating through him , creating a tension that seemed to make the air crack . He was nervous , yet exhilarated . A tiny tremble wracked through his body , and he felt like he could spring to his paws , and run forever .
And that`s what Searedheart planned to do .
Breaking into a sprint , he raced . Searedheart didn`t know who he was racing , just that he was going to win . Maybe he was racing the wind , the rain , the beat of his own heart . His medium length usually well groomed pale brown fur was pressed flat to his body , soaked by the moisture splattering around him . He was a medium sized feline , a plain dusty forest colored coat , lean and well muscled . His muzzle was streaked with very pale , almost colorless brown fur , and his green eyes sparkled many different shades , tones , and hues . Claws were sheathed , so they didn`t catch and tear in the springy soaked ground .
The wind seemed to grow stronger , as Searedheart flattened his ears against his head . Closing his eyes ever so slowly , he decided to risk running blind through his own territory . Deep inside , he knew it was a stupid thing to do . But he had to burn off this exhilaration in a fun , and slightly random way .
Normally , Searedheart was arrogant , cold , and depressed with a grim outlook for his future . But the rain seemed to transform the pressured warrior back into a young , carefree kit .
He was light and giddy , racing through the unknown , eyes closed , revealing nothing but a black abyss . He started to feel lightheaded , and resisted the urge to let out a mrrow of laughter . But it had to end sometime . THUMP !! Searedheart collided hard with another object . He rolled over , a mess of yowling clawing fur . Opening his eyes , Searedheart realized that he had collided with another feline .
o o c : Ugh . Sorry it sucks , I tried .
