"Okay," mewed Honeypaw without much enthusiasm,"goodbye." The apprentice noticed a strange look on Spiritdream's face before the warrior left. Honeypaw tilted her head to one side in confusement. And why would she need to see the medicine cat? When Honeypaw had asked before, Spiritdream had said she felt fine... Honeypaw looked back at Pixiefire, the only cat besides herself left by the river. She waited for an answer to her question, though she didn't expect one. A warrior did not have to justify herself to an apprentice. Honeypaw had learned that the hard way; when she had asked Jinxfire a question. Honeypaw looked down again, the pain renewed again. Why did she and Jinxfire have to fight? Honeypaw shook her head. She blinked many times, fighting the tears.

((That would be awesom Jinx. Sorry it took me so long to post.))Pixiefire had been in deep thought. Then as Jinxfire walked by, it strangely reminded her of her uncle. He can't be. He's to young.
"Er... He's an old friend Honeypaw." Pixiefire lied. Her pelt soaked up more rain and began to weigh her down.

"Oh, Okay," mewed Honeypaw. "thanks, I was just...wondering. That's all." she looked away embarassed. "Look, I'm going to go back to camp. I'm really tired. I might catch something on the way back." she yawned. "Goodbye," mewed the apprentice, before trotting off into the tall grass.

"Okay, bye Honeypaw. I'll come back soon." Pixiefire mewed soflty. Probably barely hearable from the pounding rain. She silently watched Honeypaw leave. Sighing, she looked down into the puddle of rain water that grew around her. Pixiefire's reflection showed lonliness.
