Orchidpaw nodded. "Think we should tell Echostar?" She was desperately afraid that anything that was beautiful would be destoyed by their leader. She sighed and looked at her mentor.
"OK, let hunt." She smelled a squirrel adn decided to follow it. After much searching, che eventaully spotted it and leaped, sucessful. Trotting back to Broken, she dropped it at his feet.

Brokensoul stared down at the golden object for a long time. He had seen these all over the streets when he was younger. His mother taught him what they were called. Rings. Twolegs wore them on their paws and the would shine so pretty it could blind a cat but this one was dirty and muddy. He looked up at Orchidpaw and shook his head. "It won't do any harm,"he meowed but when he looked down, he saw a squirrel and looked back up at Orchidpaw and smiled. "Well done!"he mewed and nodded. |
