Roxas breather heavily as he ran throuhg the dark woods. His paws made a thump as they hit the ground. He was almost out of air, but it didn't matter. He had to get away.

He turned a sharp corner, adn landed in the middle of a faerie circle. It was strange, the rim of the circle was bare, but the middle was full of flowers. Roxas bent is head to sniff in the sweet aroma.

Hie had always had to run. Run from the buthcers, the market-people, the owners of the reseraunts. He had to run away from dogs, Clan cats, evil loners. He had to dodge trucks, vans, and buggies. He lived off of twoleg food for a bit when he was younger, but he left in search of his brother, only to find that he was joining another Clan.

Roxas started to run again when he heard the siren of a truck. Not looking behinf him, he ran straignt into the trees. Tears poared down his frail cheeks. He missed Axel. But Axel was the most wild cat in the world. So uncontrolable.

Then why did he love him so much?

Swift as a bird could fly and creamy tabby tom ran through the trees and through the clearings the small forests. His gate was the fastest he ran in his life. He ran so fast that he felt like he had been running on air. Finally he spotted Roxas up ahead in the large field of flowers and then trees again. He ran even faster and faster. Soon he was about a fox length away and after and breath or so he managed to mumble,"Stop." He then leaped for Roxas's back. He landed right he back of him and gasped,"Please."

Roxas skidded to a halt, but slammed into a tree. "YAHH!" he screamed, and fell to the ground. he moaned and licked his side. He glared up at Broken. "What do you want?" he hissed. He really was happy he was here, but his emotions were so mixed, he just scowled.

Brokensoul stood fast, waiting for anything to happen. He took a few deep breaths and blinked a few times. Finally, he shook his head a few times and looked down at Roxas. "Please, you don't understand. Axel does love you!" he exclaimed. It sounded a bit weird for him to say such a thing. It was the first time he raised his voice and he wasn't angry. He was happy but his eyes were emotionless and tired he was from running.

Roxas stared at him blankly. "Ok." he lifter his bruised body off of the ground, and stepped shakily twoards brokensoul. "I knew he did." Roxas began to get very dizzy, and eventaully fainted.

A small aprentice scanned the neaby field. She was in search of a mouse, but couldn't locate the scent. Instead, she smalled another cat, a loner. She followed it untill she found brokensoul. "BROKENSOUL!" orchidpaw screamed. "WHAT are you DOING?"

Brokensoul had no time to help Roxas get up or answer him. He sighed and whipped around to face Orchidpaw. "Well,"he began and blinked a few times,"What might you be doing here? Shouldn't you be out training with your mentor and staying out of other cats buisness?" He did not smile, nor was it a joke. He frowned and looked back at Roxas. He set his paw gently on the toms side. He was still breathing so there was no big worry.

orchidpaw growled. "i don't have one! And what are you doing with these...these... TOMCHASERS!" she spat when she saw Axel and Roxas kissing each other. "EW. get them away from me! Their breaking the warrior code. SO ARE YOU!"

[keestaa..]

Brokensoul narrowed his eyes at the apprentice. "Look, I'm just helping these two cats. Okay? I am being a nice cat. That isn't me and you should no that. I want to help them and if you don't then that's too bad. If you tell Echostar, thats too bad because I don't care! I'll leave WindClan in a snap!"he growled and stepped back, in front of the two toms.

Axel growled at orchidpaw. "get out, or you'll be my next meal!" he threatened. he stared up at broken. "So, can you get her out of here?"

"i'm not going anywhere. And I won't tell anybody," she mewed reluctantly.

Brokensoul looked at Orchidpaw and Axel, then back at Orchidpaw. "Then if you so disire, you may stay but if you tell anyone then Axel can have you can have her,"he meowed and looked back at the two toms. "Where do you want to go?" he asked.

Axel shrugged. "rather stay here till someone shows up. How bout a tour of WindClan?" he asked sheepishly. Roxas growled and pushed him away. "Stupid-," he never finished because Axel cuffed him. "Shut up you!" he snarled. Roxas laughed and rolled over on his belly. "make me," he sneered.

[keestaa..]

Brokensoul sighed and sat down. "Please don't argue. And I don't think it's a good idea for a tour,"he meowed looking around for any other cats in the territory. He saw nothing except Orchidpaw. Sighing again he meowed,"It's too risky. I think you should leave WindClan territory." His eyes were emotionless but held a bit of sadness.

Roxas sighed. "Thought so," he mumbled. he turned to walk away, and shot over his shouder, "That's what i thought a stupid Clan cat would say. We loners have no boundaries. We're free to roam the world." he stumbled into the forest, stopping only for Axel.

Axel glared at his friend. That was pure rude, but he felt proud inside. Finally Roxas had come on harsh instead of kind and gentle. He looked apolegetically at broken. "Well, i'll see you," he muttered, and jumped after Roxas.

Brokensoul nodded to Axel. "Maybe I'll see you again sometime,"he meowed kindly and looked over at Roxas,"Watch out for him." He chuckled and smiled at Axel. He nodded again and turned back at Orchidpaw. "Let's get back to camp before someone sees us,"he mewed and began to dash back to camp.

orchidpaw nodded. "Let's go. Oh, and broken," she loked over at the older warrior with admiration. "do... do you... doyouwanttobemymentor?" she sputtered. She was so nervous, the words didn't come out clearly.
