Spottedstump stood up and stretched. She padded silently after Dreamstar wondering to herself. This had been such an odd gathering She thought, shaking her head What was wrong with Dreamstar? She trotted after her leader.

Grayfur padded silently out of the gathering. He wanted to be alone. Depressing tears trickled down his cheeks. he looked away from everyone, hoping no one would notice.
"Hehe," The red cat sneered. "Time is money after all."
"For you maybe," the cream cat snorted.
"Don't mess with me," the large tom warned, keeping his voice low so no one could hear. |

Molten eyes stared heatedly at Dreamstar as she moved away from the tree. The glowing orbs tracked the she-cat as she lumbered across the clearing, herding her Clan to her. The narrowed slightly, pupils contracting as they gazed at the way the leader's belly swayed, holding Dreamstar's unborn kits. The bengal hissed, claws digging into the bark as he too moved to leap out of the tree.

He stumbled slightly as he leaped, feet slipping across the cool grass when he landed. Several eyes, brightly curious, turned to gaze at him. Feline bodies weaved about the clearing as they watched the tom grasp his footing and pad to the bank, waving his tail for his Clan. Always, always it seemed that those eyes watched him. Their burning bright eyes filled with curiosity. And he told himself he only imagined the reproachfulness.

He strode forward when his Clan finally assembled, eyes straight ahead, fixed on the log. His steps were proud, steady, and his gaze hard and focused. The muscles let pass only the slightest of taut tension. His black-rimmed ears twitched as he heard cats all around him, saying farewell to friends or answering the call of their leader. As he leaped onto the log, ready to lead his cats back home, he told himself that it had to be this way. Always this way. Always.

A - And .. the end . Nice ending , Mossy . I`m tired of this thread dragging on and on . There will be a new gathering sometime soon , but for now , we move on . <33
