Grayfur walked back and forth in Cloudystar's den, waitng for his leader to show up. he had many battle strategies, and he wanted to tell them to his leader. It was dark out, and the moon had just appeared. Grayfur was very worried, he hadn't talked to his leader much, and they needed to see each other. But he had bigger problems. The fate of riverclan rested in his paws. they were getting distroyed. ShadowClan had planned a full attack, and wariors were dying...

Two silver orbs gleamed in the dark shadows of the far corners of her den. "Yes?" the dark silver tabby mewed, stepping out. Her dark tabby fur gleamed, her creamy white whiskers twitching in amusement. "Yes, Grayfur?" she repeated, dark-tipped ears flicking forward. "Did you need something?" She padded forward, paws soundless on her den's soft sand floor. She sat down just as silently, tail moving like a snake to curl around her pristine white paws. "Go on, what did you need to talk about?"

"Our clan is dying, and we need to think of something before all our warriors perish," Grayfur mewed despretaly.

At the mention of this despairing news, Cloudystar got up and started to pace back and forth, her tail lashing. "The other Clans are persistent to bring us down," she mewed, getting a crazed look in her silver eyes. The twin molten moonlight orbs blazed with a sudden furious light, one that radiated defiance and determination. "They won't kil RiverClan!" she hissed, pinning her ears back and stopping. Long razor-sharp claws unsheathed and dug into the soft soil.

"They won't!" The dark cat dug her claws deeper and snarled in frustration. "They won't." She started to pace again, the fiery rage cooling down to a slow boil under the calm surface. "Don't worry about this," she whispered, her silvery eyes looking crazed. "I will take care of it." She continued to pace, over and over, back and forth, until she finally sat back down and kneaded her den's floor with unsheathed claws, leaving deep ragged scores in the sand.

The dark tabby narrowed her eyes slightly but remained silent for several more moments, inner worry and panic that someone had noticed almost taking over her body. "I know. But still, that doesn't mean that I can't manage on my own. Thank you, Grayfur." She stood up, padding to the entrance and looking outside. The sun was setting, drowning in a blaze of light. "Have you sent out the patrols?" she mewed, looking back at the deputy.

"Good," she mewed, suddenly feeling claustrophobic in the den. "I'm going out to hunt. Watch over the Clan." Her voice was wary, as it always was nowadays. You just couldn't leave the Clan alone anymore. Padding out into the camp clearing, she sighed heavily and looked around her beloved home. After a moment of hesitation, the dark silver leader padded out of the camp, tail swishing gently.
