A mysterious tribe of cats move into the dead volcano in the ScorchClan camp. A tribe kit wanders into the ScorchClan camp, and is killed by the fierce warriors. The tribe hear of ths injustice and attack the camp. They kill many cats, capturing young kits and taking them back to their tribe home as sacrifices. The tribe learns of the three other clans, and as their ranks grow they turn against these as well. The clans believe all hope is lost, until a promise is made to each leader.
Blessed by a star
her steps silenced by the night
the Marked One will come
her heart touched with light.
Though her blood is not ours
her fate is bound by fire
four will walk with her
their paws never to tire.
First the bold speaker
his heart loyal and brave
and the cold thinker
with no love left to crave.
Next the gentle singer
her tones brave and true
and last the shy outsider
to prove his worth to you.
Together they stand
but for one this is the end
the Marked One a sacrifice
on which life shall depend.
