Story Intro:
Foxtail didn't think that anything out of the ordinary was going to happen in the forest, he didn't think that there would be anything special. He was just a young cat on a mission for the leaders. Only nineteen moons in age, he set off, trotting happily through the forest.
He did stumble on something though. He was just walking through the forest, a soft layer of fog covering the ground. He had moved from one thick forest to a sparser forest now, having to cross a small area of moorland in between. He had traveled for some time, until before him stood the towering rock wall, stretching high in the sky. He looked at it curiously, staring, his eyes bright and round. It was a brilliant sight. He itched to go inside, but half of him told him to stay out, that he should go get somebody else to come with him. Curiosity, being a strong feeling, got the better of him and he padded inside. When he came across the pool of water at the back of the small cave, he gasped. Although there was no sky above him right now, and no stars glimmering, in the reflection of the water, he could see the brilliant lights that fill the night sky. It was silverpelt, reflected in the small pool. |
