His fur color is a dashing shade of autumn red with ebony black spots littered around him and a black ring around his tail, curling and curving the end of it. He has a single front right black paw and back left white paw. His ears are tipped with black and he has a black dorsal stripe starting from the top of his head and ending at the base of his back and tail. His eyes are a luminous sun gold with just a tint of green.

Personality: Echostar is usually a playful almost kitten-like tom. He loves to run around across the fields and recall his kittenhood. In result of his playful nature, other cats often find themselves irked because of his love of teasing and curiosity, which is up to the point of being almost nosy. Light on his feet and body lean and agile, he makes for a marvelous runner. However, on the battlefield, Echostar’s playfulness is swept away by his duty bound attitude, knowing never to falter or ‘play around’ on the battle. He’s a loyal and almost brutally honest cat. At night, Echostar becomes passive and quiet, up to being solemn. It is at this point, where his wisdom, even as young as he is, shows.
History: Born into a litter of five kittens, it was no wonder why Echostar never seemed to receive enough attention from his mother. Echostar was the runt of the litter, being the one born last. Because of this, his mother and oldest brother kept an eye on him, making sure he never wandered into too much trouble. This didn’t stop him though, for he was determined to go and explore wherever he pleased. His sister, Wishkit, was the one he loved most to hang out with, following her like the tail on Wishkit’s body. His siblings didn’t always like him around, sometimes ditching him and sometimes telling him he couldn’t play with him. It was this very fact that caused Echostar the death of two of his siblings.
When he was finally announced as an apprentice and after his ceremony, he instantly raced to his siblings in excitement, him and his sister Nightpaw. The two of them had been held back in their ceremonies for a quarter moon because of their small size. When Echopaw and Nightpaw asked their siblings if they could go on a training mission, the two were given a defiant 'no' by the three older apprentices. Though Nightpaw, being the less troublesome cat, was willing to stay behind, Echopaw was angered so he convinced his sister to come with him on their own training adventure. Leaving the camp without their mentors, the two explored the areas of WindClan they’d never seen before, awed by how big the world actually was.
When they started to wander too far from the camp, Nightpaw grew skittish and pleaded with her brother to go back. Echopaw refused, wanting to explore as much as he could, both to satisfy his curiosity and to prove to his older brothers and eldest sister that he wasn’t weak. This ended in disaster though, when the two apprentices were caught by surprise by a wandering wild dog. His siblings had already returned to camp and quickly announced the alarm when they panicked and saw that Nightpaw and Echopaw were missing. Gathering the youngest kits’ mentors, Wishpaw, Smokepaw, and Duskpaw instantly set after their brother and sister. Echopaw and Nightpaw, being inexperienced and small, were fighting a losing battle against the ravenous dog who chased after them like, ironically, ‘cat and mouse’. When they arrived onto the scene, the three apprentices and two mentors fought against the dog. However, the dog retaliated with a vengeance. Echopaw could only watch as the dog picked off young Nightpaw, horrified at the amount of blood he’d seen in that one moment. Tragically, Duskpaw, the oldest apprentice, was as unlucky as Nightpaw, devoured and swept away by fanged jaws and heavy paws. After the horror, Echopaw swore to himself never to let his temper get the better of him, forever with the scarred guilt of his siblings’ death.
He eventually earned his warrior name, Echowind, achieving his goal of becoming deputy and then leader of his Clan. What inspired this struggling and torn ambition, was Duskpaw. Echowind knew that his oldest brother had longed for the position of deputy, glancing longingly at the leader's den every now and then. Echowind swore to himself that he would make his brother's dream come true, if not by Duskpaw then by him. After earning his name and nine lives, Echostar thought he had served his brother well. He still gazes at the night sky once in a while, remembering his brother and sister with shadowed guilt and regret.
IC: Glowing gold eyes opened and stared out into the dark night, a long tail swishing from side to side in a leisurely way. Twitching his ears, the tomcat slowly unraveled his lean limbs and stretched, opening his mouth into a wide yawn. With drowsy eyes, Echostar stepped out from under the shadow of the brush he’d been sleeping under, tail just barely grazing the leaves of the bushes. Stepping out into the night as he left his camp through the carefully thorned tunnel, the tom glanced around with burning orbs of gold. His coat, darkened by the dimly lit night, was a dark shade of autumn, the black spots barely visible. Echostar swiped his tongue over his jaws as his eyes scoured the rolling hills of WindClan, gold eyes narrowed slightly. Gazing up, his sight was fixed on the half moon as he sat down, tail curling around his paws. Another restless night, another dark nightmare, another scarred piece of the memory, he thought darkly.
