[ x gray's Moonshimmer[/i] x ][/color] - wow! That's terrific! And it only took twenty five minutes? O.o You are fast. . . It's a bit too dark though, the horse is hard to see, but overall. TERRIFIC! How'd you get that grid in there? PLEASE tell me!

[ x hate's Swirlkit[/i] x ][/color] - awesome! The whole picture is so neatly colored that bright navy blue. The perspective is great, the cat's a little small, and I don't see the heart in the cat. . .

I like the water paper filter that i put on it, it made it look so much more ' technical ' and fancy.

I just checked out this thread, and it inspired me to create a manip, so I searched sobi.org for a good pic, and here it is! I really love the main text effect, and the water paper effect, though the cat's eyes got messed up and I'm not too happy about that. On the side there, is my handwriting, using the mouse of course. I think that's a nice touch. . . what'dya think?

I was inspired by my friend Saberclaw to make this graphic. I spent so long on this, and despite a lot of long frustrations with the layers and move tool. I think it turned out better than I expected it to. It's really dark, and I had trouble coloring the eyes and lightening it up so that you could see the cat good enough. Well. . . ?

[/i] x ][/color] - i like the color of the text. the cat is a bit decolorized, but the placement is good. the backround was a good choice. =]
[ x rainshadow's rainshadow, wild, and moonpack[/i] x ][/color] - the transparency of all three of them was nicely cut out, and placed. i especially like the Moonpack signature because of the different colors.[/left]

It's a fairly small graphic, and the cat isn't very ' showy ' in the picture, but I really love this manip. It's about my character, Meteotora. I love the coloring, and special effects. The lyrics are from a song by Paramore, I don't like them too much, and I wish now that I wouldn't have picked them. This thing took me two frickin hours because the cat picture would not cooperate with me. It was light on one side and dark on the other because it was in a shadow, plus it was way too small to fit the entire backround, so I had to crop the backround. Then I had to decide where to put it, and I had to mess around with the dodge and burn tools to get the cat the same shade. Then I had to color the eyes. After all that, being a gif made the picture pixelized on the cat, but I don't think it's especially noticeable. [ at least i hope not ] Overall, I really like it, and am very proud of it. :3

The cat is kinda shadowy, especially with the dark background, but with its blue eyes and bright, glowing text, it balances everything out nicely. LUV IT.

description: okay, so it's not crazy awesome like the rest of you peeps' graphics. But I think this one is the best one I've done so far with Corel Painter X, so...yea. I tried to make the wolf the center of attention, but I probably didn't execute it as well as possible.
