 Here it is. The official thread for Dreamy / Mossy signature showdowns. Anyone is free to join, it's all about making pointless signatures and stuff. Let me start... Beat This!//Image: //Approimate time: 45 Minutes //GM's Comment's: What made it take so long was the eyes. They were orange, but I had to turn them into a 'Hawkfrost' icy blue. I went crazy with the brush marks branching off of the 't', but the grid effect was easiest. I'd have to say the funnest part was making all of those swirls! <33 *Beat That! Eyes, text, and faint pattern were easy. The butterfly was a quick dash surprise with a few dodge uses here and there, and a filter. What killed me were the sparkles, which took several uses of a filter and a couple of tools. But I loved it nonetheless!! ^_^ |

What you've all been waiting for! (not) Beat this! //Approximate Time: A week+ //GM's Comments: *sigh* Not very proud of this time. I think it's a piece of crap actually. Maybe because I spent a week on it and I still don't think it looks right. Oh well. My favorite part are the faded brushes and slight borders, as well as the text. Wings were easy as well as pattern. What killed me was trying to blend the two pictures together. The filter I added definitely made it better in my opinion. |

Unfortunately, I have no clue what you`re talking about, Mossy. xD But I`m an idiot anyways. I think it`s beautiful, and I do love the fade effect. No clue what a filter is. I also love your swirl brush style along the edges. Lovely. <3 Beat This!//Image: //Approximate Time:Mmm... uh... 45 minutes maybe..? //GM`s Comments:This was an unplanned random piece of art. It started with the lyrics( savin' me - nickelback ), and then the rain and the grayish in the picture. Then I added a fog effect, and faded the cat a lot, and... uh, I started adding swirls and such, and they happened to form a heart - like shape at the top, totally an accident. I thought it would be cute to add some faded scribbles and stuff, to color it up a bit. All the lines and borders were done on MS paint. They took the longest because of spacing and pixel size and because I`m a perfectionist when it comes to that sort of thing. I think it`s okay, but I don`t love it like I love Mossy`s 'Driftkit' signature. Now that, I adore. <33 |

=O So pwetty Dreamy! I love the way you styled the text! The heart texture is so pretty and the swirls rock! <3 What Cloudy has been dying for all this time. Here it is my entry! Beat This!//Image: Approximate Time: 1-2 hours+ GM's Comments: Oh god I almost thought I wouldn't be able to post this! Stupid .jpg files! Had to resave as .png! Anyways I was going for a blue tone. This sig was inspired by Cloudy's character Hallowsilence and Sleepy Hollow. It's one of my more realistic photo manips. Took an achingly long time because of the text, which was either too light or too dark to see. My favorite part would have to be the cat on the road and the cat blended into the BG. |
