Desperation's pelt is shadowed, and the color is almost inpossible to tell. It could be black or dark gray, but she doesn't care what color it is. Her fur is thin and short, and has soft , gray tabby markings. A scar runs down her side, ending with a jagged tiwst downward at her neck. Her eyes are light blue, and she appears blind, though she can see perfectly well. When her family was alive, she was usually the first one to spot a mouse or vole scurrying in the brush. Two blue - gray tear - shaped marks shine below her eyes, symbolizing her sorrow and pain. Desperation is thin, and you can easily count her ribs beneath her dark fur. Her paws are small, and the cat herself has a fragile air around her, as if one more lie could break her.

Desperation is quiet, and rarely speaks. It tends to be an honor when she does, for her voice is soft and smooth. She seems to be pained, afraid that if she ever speaks, something will slip out, and she'll never be able to stop. She doesn't have much a temper, and will reply calmly, as if she'd never heard of anger before. Beneath the shy exterior is agony and pain, more than any cat could bear. She holds it all in, afraid that one day her grip will slip and she'll break.

Desperation was a Clan cat, and was playful and bright. She never lied or had a problem with anyone, and it seemed she was going to be a fine Leader someday.
Her sister envied her, her brother envied her, everyone seemed to. Despite her kindness, she had no friends, and still doesn't. Her parents lovedf her, though, and she thrived in the joy they gave her. But she was oblivious to what happened aroudn her. Cats were killed, Leaders disappeared, whole Clans were demolished by the lack of food.To her, everything was perfect. But nothing was whole.
Rouges attacked the camp during the night. Her Leader and Deputy were slughtered. Several kits were taken and never seen again. Their best warriors fell. She didn't fight. She ran. Once she heard the agonized scream of her mother as she died, she turned away. For days she ran, afraid they'd catch her during her sleep. But no one followed her. She realized what a coward she'd been, and after a month she returned to the Clan. Nothing existed where the once-thriving cats had lived. Everything and everyone had died.
