Name: Hollyleaf
Gender: She-cat
Rank: Possibly med. cat, or else a warrior
Clan: RiverClan
Description: Hollyleaf is a slight, small she-cat with a smooth, long pelt and a shorter-than-average tail. Her fur is light brown accented with distinct black and white tabby markings on her back and tail. Her eyes are a dark green with a hint of gold to them. She has fur of average length and is not burly or bulky like the largest warriors. Hollyleaf's most distinguishing characteristic is an irregular splotch of dark reddish-ginger on her left flank. From an encounter with a hawk when she was a kit, her right ear is ragged and torn, and she relies mainly on her left ear for hearing.

(not the best, but it'll do)
Personality: Hollyleaf is bright and fun-loving, having lost her shyness at a young age. She loves her Clan and strives to be a good warrior every day. She has a wild side as well - Hollyleaf is a fierce fighter and loves to fight with her Clan in times of trouble. She is also slightly rebellious, and can be a bit annoying or quarrelsome at times. Her temper fluctuates with her mood, but when she's angry, it can take her a long time to cool down. She has a reputation for holding a grudge for a very long time, but is soft at heart and has a weak spot for apprentices and kits. Hollyleaf is a true friend.
History: Hollyleaf was born to Silverwing, a young RiverClan she-cat, and Falconwind, one of RiverClan's best warriors. She has no siblings, as her brother died soon after birth from a deformation in his lungs and heart. She was attacked as a kit by a hawk that had been preying on RiverClan for moons, resulting in a mutilated right ear. She had a difficult time learning how to hunt creatures like rabbits and mice, but is now an efficient hunter and an even better fighter.
As an apprentice, she developed a fascination for the mysteries and unknown skies of StarClan. She idolizes cat heroes of the past and wished to live up to their legacy. Hollyleaf became a warrior when she was 11 moons old. She became an excellent storyteller and loves collecting legends and epic tales to pass on to the cats in her Clan.
IC: The sun lay in the evening sky, hovering over the green-black horizon like an eagle waiting to strike. Veils of amber and scarlet laced the sky, their color seeping into the clouds and brushing against the still leaves. The wild shrubs of the meadows and copses of RiverClan territory had reached the peak of their summer splendor, bursting up from the ground in an array of scents and colors. A few crickets hummed harmoniously in the tall grass, and a blackbird added his own voice to the melody from the forest.
Hollyleaf's good ear perked up at a rustle from the bushes. The patterns of the scuttling and the volume of the noise alerted the young warrior to the approach of a vole. Seconds later, the little creature emerged from the grass, snuffling and scampering along. The tabby she-cat's legs bunched under her, and she sprang lightly and silently. Her claws flashed and came down in the back of the vole, and a tiny snap ensued. She had broken its spine.
Pleased, Hollyleaf lifted her catch in her mouth and turned to sprint off in the direction of the camp. No matter what had been said about her handicapped ear, she could hunt as well as any warrior. Satisfaction swelled up in Hollyleaf as the blackbird cawed shrilly again. It was a song for her. A song of triumph, she thought to herself.
