&&. one for s o r r o w . A Mythstar Role Play
One for s o r r o w Two for j o y Three for g i r l Four for b o y Five for s i l v e r Six for g o l d Seven for s e c r e t Never been t o l d A lone tree stump sat in the middle of the shaded clearing. For years the stump was used by the Leader of ShadowClan to hold Clan meetings. When a cat was on it, great and powerful announcements were made for the whole entire Clan to here. It stood high towering over the young cats and some times level with the large older ones but either way, the Leader always was high above the crowd. He could look out over all the cats to see the new apprentices to be receiving their mentors or the warriors receiving their knew apprentices. He could see the older apprentices ready to become warriors and a older warrior ready to become Deputy. The stump was called the Tallstump. And some cats thought it was sacred.
Mythstar was positive it was the third most sacred place in all of the territories. The first two were the Moonpool and the Gathering Island. He would have felt much better if the Tallstump was first on the list but he was positive that it was impossible for that to ever happen. He was alright with it though because the two most sacred territories weren't the other Clan's. They were either owned by StarClan or shared by all the Clans. He was proud to call the Tallstump his own. The new Leader may be young but he is wise and smart. He tests other cats in the most weird or even painful ways. But that's just because Mythstar's brain works differently then everyone else.
Speaking of that devil, it was time for him to make the journey to the Tallstump because today was a special day for the whole Clan. Today was the day Mythstar would be announcing the new Deputy for Aurorafrost, sadly has gone missing like the two Leaders before him. What strange goings on but now, after waiting for a couple moons for her to come back, the wise Leader decided it was now time. He had already decided who it was going to be from the test he had given her yesterday. It was a fight but she had defended herself like no other cat he has ever stood up to. He liked that. He thought she was a wonderful, brave warrior. He would be making Wildstorm his Deputy.
Slowly, he emerged from the dark shadows of his den which was in the tallest tree in camp. It stood, towering over everything in sight but he absolutely loved his tree. It suited him. Every pawstep made a tingle run down his spine. This was his first Clan meeting he would hold that something would really happen. These would be his first ceremonies to conduct. It was so exciting for him but he didn't show it. He kept a straight face as he padded toward the stump. He didn't look at anyone or anything. He focused him self on the stump, thinking about what Asterstar would do, what he would say, how he would react. Once he reached the stump, he heaved himself on top and looked out over camp.
It was a nice day, the sun was shining but in the shaded clearing, it was almost like it was cloudy. A few patches of sun sat on the ground but nothing else. It was hard for the light to seep through the think branches and leaves of the pine trees. There was a faint breeze that could barely rustle leaves but it was nice enough to keep cool during the warm day. He wanted it to be a beautiful day that he would chose the new deputy. He wanted this day to be absolutely perfect. Today wasn't just the day he would announce the new Deputy. It was also a new day. It was a day where everything would change. Everything would be different but he had Wildstorm on his right hand side to help him. He just wished that she wouldn't take the fight he had with her yesterday personally
"All cat's old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the Tallstump for a Clan meeting!"

---------------------------------------------------------------- Chaosflight emerged from the warrior's den, awakened by the call of her leader. She strained her paws, stretching her back into a long, graceful stretch. The she-cat could feel her claws unshealth and sink into the turf as she moved herself into a standing position, flourishing her plume as a slight breeze swept through ShadowClan camp. It was time for a long awaited meeting.
Chaosflight walked up to the Tallstump, her flank rocking side to side in motion with her powerful shoulders. She shealthed her claws before placing her bodice on the loam.
Chaosflight, Warrior of ShadowClan reporting for duty.

Shatteredheart entered the clearing, yawning. She twitched her ears, and drew her paw over her ear. Tasting the air, she walked silently into the clearing. She sat down, and unsheathed her claws, and dug them into the dirt.
She looked up at Mythstar, waiting for her to speak [/blockquote]

Pale fur gleamed as it's owner shifted their weight. The cat approached the Tallstump, though keeping his distance from the others. Beside him, the she-cat sat back on her haunches and waited. Silentscream's alert orbs were focused, beaming, on Mythstar. Though Sorrowsong seemed less intrested, her auds were leaning forwards as her head lolled to the side. Silentscream's side rose in fell in time with his paws, which kneaded the bare ground excitedly. A slight smile formed on his mother's face, seeming awkward on the light orange fur.

| ...and | I | am | flawed... |
The thorns rustled and parted as a familiar sorrel pelt brushed through them. The she-cat shook herself to rid her dark coat of the brambles. Blinking and perking her ears in surprise, Wildstorm took quick notice of the amount of cats gathering in the clearing. Mahogany orbs flickered with confusion as the sorrel warrior slipped forward, her jaws laden with fresh-kill. Twitching her tail tip, the somali dropped the prey onto the fresh-kill pile.
| ...but | I | am | cleaning | up | so | well. |
Wildstorm padded forward, her eyes taking sudden notice of a creamy pelt moving toward the Tallstump. Mythstar? Then that must mean this is a Clan meeting! The confusion in her oaken eyes grew as the she-cat wondered what the new ShadowClan leader could possibly be announcing. As far as she knew, none of the kits were ready to be made apprentices and there wasn't any sure sign that the current apprentices would be made into warriors. Then it hit her. The sorrel femme halted as she realized that Mythstar must have reached a decision about his deputy Aurorafrost!
| I | am | seeing | in | me | now... |
Wildstorm rushed her paws over the clearing, her eyes bright and alert. Perhaps Mythstar was about to announce a new deputy. The she-cat skidded to a half besides Chaosflight, eying the other femme. "Is Mythstar announcing a new deputy?" The sorrel warrior mewed questioningly, autumn and blue-flecked eyes wide with confusion as well as curiosity.

The young apprentice, Rustedpaw, bounded over to the Tallstump. "What's Mythstar announcing today? Huh, huh huh?" He asked the warriors, bounding through them. Little did he know, Mythstar was announcing the deputy. Rustedpaw ran to Wildstorm. "What's Mythstar announcing about?" He asked her.

---------------------------------------------------------------- I believe Mythstar is announcing the new Clan Deputy, Rustedpaw. Chaosflight murmered to the young tom. There's no telling who will be picked, no ones been able to talk to Mythstar for some time now. Although-- The femmina leaned close to the apprentice's ear. I believe it might be Wildstorm. Chaosflight batted the apprentice's ear playfully before nodding to Wildstorm, aknowlaging her question and answering at the same time.
Chaoflight knew the deputy was to be Wildstorm, one of her good friends; they had known each-other for some time now. It seemed just right for her to become deputy. She hoped Mythstar could see the amazing warrior in her.

Rustedpaw smiled at the warrior. "Maybe Mythstar'll give me my apprentice ceremony too!" He meowed joyfully. "Can you be my mentor?" He asked Chaosflight excitably. "Oooh... I hope Wildstorm is deputy. She'll be perfect!" He meowed, "Shh! I htink Mythstar's gonna talk now!" He turned his attention to the leader.

Surprised flashed in the she-cat's autumn eyes. The ground swayed beneath her and her fur stood on edge. A wild light flared in the sorrel warrior's orbs, her ears rising into an erect stance "W-What? Me? Deputy?"
Wildstorm turned her head to gaze at Chaosflight and Rustedpaw with a shocked gaze. Her jaw hung open slightly, fangs glinting in the light. The ShadowClan femme's tail lashed about, anxiety rising in her belly. "Why me?" Wildstorm asked, her eyes flickering with confusion. Fidgeting in her spot, the dark femme sat down, her claws unsheathing and sinking into the ground.
She couldn't understand it really and with good reason. Just yesterday, the she-cat had fought with Mythstar, angry at him. Sorrel orbs settled on the creamy leader's pelt, watching him place himself atop the Tallstump. Why? She silently asked him.

"You'd be perfect for the spot!" Cried Rustedpaw. "Wait, not perfect, excellent, the best, all the good things you could say that's what you are!" He meowed. "You would be the bestest deputy for us! We would strive under your deputyship! You and Mythstar paired together for high positions, we would be the best clan in the forest!" Rustedpaw bounced on the spot.

[ ooc; ] This is it!? This is ShadowClan? This is all I get after sending out a MPM? Kee = unhappy. ><
A Mythstar Role Play
The sun was setting behind the horizon, making the sky glow a reddish orange color where the sun had disappeared. The other side of the sky was a dark blue color. Yes there were a few clouds in the sky but the didn't block the lovely sunset. The only thing that did block the sunset were the trees. ShadowClan were known for their pine forest. Of course, most pine trees were thick will needles, unless they were dead. Most of these pine trees around camp were very thick and very healthy, which was a reason why camp was made in this clearing. It was protected from predators and other Clans. Whoever had chosen this spot to place the Clan, was a very smart cat.
The creamy light brown leader sighed softly, looking down at his Clan. Not many had shown up to his call. Where else could the warriors and apprentices be? Where was Slithertalon and Topazpaw? Maybe they were out searching for herbs. Though, Mythstar really wished that Shadowpaw was in camp. He was going to give the young smoky black tom a mentor but since he wasn't attending the ceremony, he would just have to wait, unless he showed up at last minute. Young Rustedpaw was at the ceremony, though, that was for sure. The small gray tom couldn't even sit still. He would need a tough she-cat to whip him into shape. But that she-cat would need patience. Chaosflight would be a good choice for the young tom's mentor. Mythstar knew already who Shadowpaw's mentor would be. Wildstorm. They seemed to get along quite well.
Oh well. At this time, he wasn't going to worry about mentor and apprentice pairings. Well not quite yet. In a moment, he would be making his Deputy. His sea green orbs moved through the crowd, his gaze landing on every cat. When he looked at Silentscream, he smiled. The young tom was his nephew and he seemed to think Mythstar like a role model. The creamy Leader was proud to actually have a role model. He gazed at Sorrowsong, his sister, and smiled slightly. The two siblings weren't extremely close but they were siblings. His gaze then rested on Wildstorm as she looked up at him as to say why? but he didn't know how to answer that question. He just smiled forgivingly as if to say he was sorry for what he had said yesterday. He didn't mean to fight with her but it was a test to see if she was the right warrior for the job as Deputy. Mythstar decided later that he would tell Wildstorm that it was all a test. Then maybe they could both have a good laugh about it. His sea green orbs looked at her for a moment longer before at the sky. The Leader flicked his long tail for silence before he began to speak.
"ShadowClan!" His voice was low, loud and just about shook the clearing but his face was full of happiness. "Today I have called you together to announce the new Deputy. Aurorafrost has been missing for several moons and I feel that it is time that we make a new Deputy. StarClan, please, look down on my Clan and approve my choice." The booming voice, suddenly paused, thoughts running through his head. Was this cat the right choice? Was she meant to be Deputy? Yes. Yes it was. He smiled down at Wildstorm.
"The new Deputy of ShadowClan will be Wildstorm!"

ooc: xD Poor Kee.
:Wildstorm
| ...everyone | knows | I'm | in | over | my | head... |
The golden glow from the sun was fading, the sunset lighting the clearing in a sea of red light. The dying rays broke through the thick pine shelter, bathing the camp with their last touch. From the other side, a cobalt wave was stretching over the sky, signaling that night was coming soon. The moon would not be far off if the sun was leaving now. Yet ShadowClan had no need to worry. Mythstar had already named their new deputy and she was staring at him with impossibly wide eyes.
"The new Deputy of ShadowClan will be Wildstorm!"
Hearing those words made her heart stop. The blood pounded in her ears, a deadly silence claiming the assembly of cats. Sorrel eyes filled with sparkles of lapis lazuli stared at the milky leader before her. Her voice was caught in her throat and she found she couldn't breathe as she gazed into his sea green, almost turquoise, eyes. Her sharp claws unsheathed and dug into the ground, trying to gain balance. Shivering in spite of the sun's everlasting warmth, Wildstorm rose to all four paws.
"M-Mythstar, I-I think..." She trailed off. For the first time in her life she was sounded unsure. Her usual gruff nature and hostility were gone, leaving an insecure feline in their wakes. Her ears pinned back into her cranium as she gazed at the long tom sitting atop the Tallstump. The sun's declining beams cast a crimson glow on Mythstar and the stump, bathing the ShadowClan leader and his spot in an ocean of blood. Swallowing thickly, Wildstorm curled her tail high, her eyes flashing with their familiar feral spirit. The sorrel warrior padded forward until she stood a fox-length away from Mythstar and blinked up at him.
Seeing his sea green eyes sparkle with excitement and knowing, the dark femme felt her belly flip. Her chocolate ears pricked and she mentally told herself that everything would be fine. The spunk and fire were back, blazing in her dual-colored eyes. Her back muscles coiled together and her legs straightened. Amber stared hard into turquoise eyes. "I accept." The newly appointed deputy said, her voice clear and strong as a cat's voice could be.

He has late. He was late! The sun had long dipped on the horizon and night was beginning its trek along the skies, tinting the fading array of gold into midnight tones. His smoky paws were drumming on the ground like wild horses, his heart ramming in his chest in a frantic staccato beat. His nerves were tingling on the edge of his fur as he leaped through the pine forest of Shadowclan territory. Two mice hung from his jaws as he weaved through the trees. He'd been told to go on a hunting patrol with a few warriors. Yet, for a reason he couldn't fathom, the young apprentice found himself completely alone a while later on the patrol. And now, with prey in his jaws, he was late getting back to camp.
Ugh Wildstorm and Mythstar ware going to have a field day scolding me! It's not my fault I'm forced into a group of warriors whom already have their own apprentices to look after, he thought wildly as he leaped over a log. His flanks were heaving and he was quickly growing tired from his winded race back to camp. Bright yellow eyes glimmered anxiously as he burst through the walls surrounded his camp. Instantly though, he skidded to a halt. Cats were gathered by the Tallstump. Mythstar was on the Tallstump. Words came to him.
"The new Deputy of ShadowClan will be Wildstorm!"
"I accept."
Shadowpaw's eyes widened.

It had been a gentle, pleasant surprise. One moment she'd been at the fresh-kill pile to grab a mouse when Mythstar had suddenly whisked himself to the Tallstump and called for a meeting. Her maw had been half-open, reaching for the prey and her ears had swiveled backward in curiosity. Slowly, she'd turned her dark cranium and stared at the pallid leader. Then her chocolate dark paws had carried her to the meeting place with the growing mass of cats. Her earthen eyes had stared quietly and patiently at her leader. And then he gave the news.
Wildstorm was the new Shadowclan deputy.
Her jaws had parted once more, her earthen eyes flecked in viridian had widened in shock. Surprise rippled through her body and gripped her. Then came the joy. The ecstatic joy. Her sister was deputy. Her sister! The news had knocked speech out of her as Wildstorm solemnly accepted it. She'd taken a step forward, ready to congratulate Wildstorm. That is when she fully realized it. Her sister was deputy now.
And everything would change.

It would be an extremelly amazing experiance for her friend and herself. And someday she would be a leader. But how things would change.
