Chaosflight stepped infront of Axel, between the fighting lines. If they tried to even touch her, they would die. She took a deep breath. This cat needed some sense knocked into him. The poor WindClan tom--was his name Brokensoul?--was being challenged on his own turf, forced to attack or surrender. She dug her claws into the ground. "Don't make me hurt you Axel," She hissed angerly. "Because I will make you hurt like hell if you set as much as a claw on me." |

"GET OUT YOU STUPID-" axel wasn't able to finish the curse. he was already running straight at Broken's chest, aiming for his throat. "You're mine now!" he hollered, lumping into the air as if he could fly. |

Chaosflight hissed and lept up at Axel, batting him out of the air and onto the ground. She spat at Axel, and forced him to the ground. "No," She hissed. "Do you want me to alert the whole of WindClan that your here? I would be honored," She signalled Brokensould over with her tail.
Chaosflight sank her claws into Axel's flank. He was so horrid. |

Brokensoul wasn't even able to speak. He stood still with shock. Finally when he got back his senses he padded over beside Chaosflight and gave her a greatful nod. She could have just saved his life. "What did I do?"he asked, eyes wide with questioning. "You are rogues and you don't belong here so get out!"he yowled, anger rising. He felt as though he could rip Axel's pelt to shreds but he held back and looked over at Roxas. His eyes turned more sad and he looked back at Axel. "I'm sorry but you have to get Roxas and leave,"he mewed calmly and nodded to Chaosflight. "I owe you much but please, you must leave or you will get caught. He shook his head and began to back away slowly. |

Roxas turned to Axel, disbelief on his face. "But...but," he stuttered. he had no idea of what to do, so he just sat where he was, tears streaming down his cheeks. Finally, his expression clouded with hate and disgust. "I HATE YOU!" he screetched at Axel, adn ran off into the forest. |

What have I done? Brokensoul thought in his head. He looked off at where he had seen Roxas disappear. His eyes clouded with sorrow and pain. It was good that he left but for Brokensoul to break up such a wonderful friendship made him feel wrong and hateful and angered. He had never ment for this to happen. He just was lonely and jelous that they were so happy together, leaving Brokensoul in the dust. |

Axel stared at the ground for a long time, his eyes filled with sadness, but the tears wouldn't come, he slowly started to lie on his belly and put his head on his paws. Quietly, he wimpered in a small voice, "I'm sorry Broken." |

Brokensoul hadn't been called Broken in so long. It was so different but he knew the name so well. It had been what he was called in the alleys. He had always loved his name. Broken. He wished to be a rogue again but he couldn't do that. He had other jobs to attend to. "I forgive you Axel,"he whispered after a long pause. |

Axel looked at the ground again. A few minutes later, he turned around to look up sadly at Brokensoul. Hs face was twisted in an expression of inner apin, and his scarred face was matted with wet fur. His emerald green eyes seemed to have dulled, and his ears and tail drooped.

Sadly, Brokensoul stared down at Axel. He paused for a long time to think of what to say. He finally sighed and shrugged. "There is only one way to find out,"he mewed quietly and looked at where Roxas had gone again. |

Axel nodded. He looked over at Broken. "Come with me?" he questioned shyly. He would appreciate another cat's company, and since Roxas had liked Broken so much, there wasn't any harm in asking. |

"You should go before you get caught,"he added. He sighed and looked back to where Roxas had gone. He flicked his tail and looked back at Axel. "We should go before he gets too far ahead." |
