Walnutclaw halted in surprise and grinned eagerly as he was named Sorrelpaw's mentor. The tabby warrior watched Sorrelpaw walk away before bounding over to her and halting her. How about a hunt in the morning? We can start your training then. He could see that she was worried about her friend and he decided he could wait till the morning.

Echostar nodded as the cats left and watched them, golden orbs still thoughtful, still pondering. Maybe Twilightsnow could mentor Starrypaw. But he hadn't seen his deputy in some time. He watched the cats exit, eyes churning with thought. Echostar shook his head and mewed to himself as he walked back to his nest, "You're thinking too much Echo."

Still, the thought wouldn't leave his mind. Maybe...just maybe...
