[ o o c ] | hereh we go with the uncreative shortness. Uh...do what you want with this. Wait. I've got an idea. Make Echo go with Dream, and then...i don't know...maybe add an eerie green or red light, and a voice. Just a few ideas...though you pro'lly don't need them. [ b i c ] | Dreamstar's ears flat against her head, she tried to locate where the sudden storm had come from. North? West? No. This wasn't right. Was this the doing of Starclan? Were they angry and her and Echostar? A deeper, more disturbing thought coarsed through her mind. Would Starclan take out their anger on the kits?
Wind whipping around them, the darkness grew. Looking at Echostar, all Dreamstar saw were his pricked ears, silouhetted in the dim light. But the light grew fainter...and fainter. They were wrapped up in sheer darkness. In the deepest Shadows.
Dreamstar felt her paws leave ground. Howling in fear, the wind swept her up. She sailed through the blackness, calling for her mate. Was he with her? Was he here, in this strange storm of darkness? "Echostar! Oh, Echostar, where are you?" Her voice echoed strangely, as if she were in a deep dark cave. The howling of the wind stopped, and Dreamstar felt her paws touch ground un-gracefully. The ground was cold, like stone. Blackness still surrounded her, and she felt the fear well up inside her, once again. "E-Echostar?" Dreamstar stammered, straining her eyes, to try and see. But her efforts were useless.

Echostar whipped his head around, ebony-tipped ears perking straight up as the wind hissed and howled around him. Being awed and frightened by the dark winds blowing around him had made him distracted and he'd lost sight and track of his mate. Drawn by the beseeching wails, he glanced around and gasped as the fur on his spine rose when the wind forced him back. It would've knocked him over had it not been for his claws unsheathing and sinking into the ground. Wheezing for breath, Echostar closed his eyes tightly as the dark winds pushed at him, dragging him by his claws as eerie wailings and caterwauls filled the air, suffocating him with the scent of pain and shadows. Golden orbs snapping open and rolling to the back of his skull, Echostar let loose a low screeching howl, piercing the dark winds as they seemed to recoil and roar in anger.
As his wailing lowered, the winds parted, leaving a blanket of abyss before him. Chest heaving and eyes watering, the autumn tom stepped forward, almost falling over as his paws drummed with exhaustion. Stumbling blindly in the dark, his heated eyes scanned the abyss and pricked his ears when he heard a low wail for help. Panting, he rushed into a lope and raced through the darkness, yowling for his mate. A gasp escaped his lips when his paws slipped through the icy dark floor and he smashed on the ground, seemingly falling from somewhere above. Gasping as the wind was knocked out of him, Echostar became aware of a soft weight beside him. A scent, a beautiful sweet scent overflowed him and he almost fainted in relief. He turned and sniffed the pale fur next to him and licked the figure, making out the fur to be a cheek. Whispering softly, with gentle smoothness and silky soft tones, he mewed, "Dreamstar. You're here. Don't cry love, I'm here for you. Are you hurt?"
He cooed to his mate, murmuring sweet inaudible words and soft promises, even as he felt the darkness wailing around and above them, a dark shadow. A forebidding shadow.

"E-Echostar?! Is that you? Oh, I thought I would be left alone...here in the dark. I was so afraid!" She admitted. But Dreamstar knew that Echostar wasn't just Windclan leader. She had no fear of showing weakness infront of him. Dreamstar realized that she could now see the pale outline of his ears, and a faint glow came off his fur. The large cave in which they stood was being slowly lit up, by a faint eerie green glow. The walls were smooth, and the floor was flat. Thick shadows lay around the edges of the cave.
A figure stepped out of the shadows and into the strange light. A muffled gasp escaped Dreamstar, and she shrank closer to her mate as the feline moved closer. He was large, with lean muscles rippling beneath his pure white pelt. His long, hooked claws scraped the cave floor, sending chills up her spine. But what frightened Dreamstar most, was the blood that stained his shaggy white coat. The evil gleam in his eyes. The menacing smile, that grew as he padded closer to Echostar and Dreamstar.
[ o o c ] | Trying to be creative, again. If you feel the need to, you can make him talk. or I can. I don't know. He's just a random extra character.

ooc: Sweetness. Reminds me of Nagi and Shizuru.
bic: Echostar's breath hitched, eyes widening as a lump locked in his throat drummed repeatedly, blocking any air from getting into his lungs. The eyes of the white feline were undefined, a mixture of smoldering amber and icy blue, like the scorching entity of the sun hitting against icy frost. The gleam in those heterochromatic eyes sent a chilling shiver down Echostar's pelt, making his claws unsheathe. As the feline stepped toward them, a maddening urge to scream and run forced its way up Echostar's throat, making his voice come out in sporadic chokes. He stepped back, but his peripheral vision caught sight of Dreamstar and another forced whimper escaped his black lips. If he ran, pregnant Dreamstar would be left to face this blood-thirsted gazed-eye feline. He couldn't abandon his mate. His golden eyes swiveled back to the white tom, watching the shaggy cat grin madly and stop in front of them, no more than a few tail-lengths away. Echostar's heart raced, beat after beat.
Thump......thump......thump...thump...thump..thump
"Hello..." a raspy voice cut into the air of the cave, filled with chipped ice and unquenched thirst. A shudder raced down Echostar's spine, his eyes closed briefly at that grating voice. The white tom grinned, a row of fanged teeth grazing over black lips. His tail waved from side to side, the gleam in his eyes darkening his double-colored eyes. Echostar swallowed, taking a step forward. The tom's grin widened, amusement and bloodlust in those heated pools of hot ice.
The bengal tom swallowed, voice coming out alarmed and forced, "Who are you?"

[ o o c ] | What do you mean?
[ b i c ] | Dreamstar's eyes glazed, unblinking, in fear. She couldn't move her gaze off of her enemy. Or was this her enemy? The white cat turned his eerie orbs from Echostar to Dreamstar, slowly. An evil smile crossed his face, and his raspy voice sliced through the calm air once more. "Oh, no Dreamstar. I'm not your enemy." His smile widened as he saw the alarm that flickered over Dreamstar's face. "But I do know what you're thinking." He continued. "Of course I'm not your enemy! But I'm not your Ally either. My name is Nightfury. And I'm your fate. Your destiny." Ears flicking in surprise, Dreamstar inched closer to Echostar. The white cat continued on; "I'm Nightfury," He repeated, "Ruler of the Forest of Shadows. Clan cats who break the warrior code, who live their lives wading through secrets and blood spend their afterlife alone. In my forest. Unless you two can change the situation in which you stand, you know where you and your kits will belong. They will be cursed. The cursed half-clan kits, of two irresponsible leaders." Fresh horror shone in Dreamstar's eyes as this wretched cat spoke. "This isn't over." He added, making a clear threat. The words echoed through Dreamstar's mind, as the sturdy white tom raised one bloodstained paw, claws unsheathed. Cursed.

ooc: Hehehe. The white tom reminds me of Nagi(character from an anime) because he's white and Nagi has white hair. He also reminds me of Shizuru because Shizuru had a menacing gleam in her eyes in the anime she's in.
bic: Alarm shot through Echostar so hard and fast that the pain was almost physical. A gasp came from his lips as Nightfury's words rang in his ears, bouncing along the dark corridors of his mind. Cursed? To here? It couldn't happen! It couldn't! This place was not for them, surely Starclan wouldn't let this happen would they? But doubt flickered in his mind as the tom spoke with deadly sureness, no falter in his rasped statement. His eyes widened when the tom rose a claw.
No! NO!
Fur rising and defiance baring its fiery head, Echostar leaped forward and place himself in front of his mate. A hiss came from his lips as his claws unsheathed, white fury in his golden orbs. Shoulders hunching up as his tail lashed from side to side, the bengal tom spat, "You're lying! When we die, we will not come here. Never! Our kits cannot be cursed! We'll find a way to make sure that never happens! They'll survive! No kit of mine will be doomed to this place! NEVER!"
His last words rose in an angered yowl, echoing off the cave walls as his fangs gleamed and his body shook with his fury. Claws scraped against the ground as Echostar glared in defiance. He was not doomed to this horrid place. He never would be, nor his kits and mate. Face distorted with pure, burning outrage, he lunged at the tom.

Dreamstar watched in horror as Echostar sprang. But so did Nightfury. His earsplitting yowl pierced the air, as he flew at Echostar with dead accuracy. Claws unsheathed. This couldn't be happening! How did Echostar plan to fight this...this supernatural monster? This white terror? Was this even real?

Echostar hissed as he slammed into the cat, gritting his teeth as long claws sank into his pelt. Burning with anger and passion, the bengal tom swung his paw around and smacked the tom. Nightfury let loose an angry caterwaul, shoving Echostar back with his shoulder. The smaller bengal tom stumbled back and Nightfury took this chance to slash his claws against Echostar's face, grinning madly when the tom shrieked in pain and scrambled about, eyes closed as blood dripped down his face.
Blinding by pain and the stench of blood, Echostar swung his face around, nostrils flaring as laughter echoed in the cave. How could he fight when he couldn't see? He didn't have time to think, for a cold and great weight smashed into him, knocking him against the wall and pinning him there. A hot voice whispered next to his ear, breath filled with heat but tone colder than ice, "You're mine.
Nightfury's claw rose once again.

But instead of striking, the white warrior began to fade, until all that was left was a shining pair of glowing red eyes. Then nothing. But the words echoed more strongly in Dreamstar's mind, until she realized that they were echoing through the cave, as well.
CURSED!
It couldn't be. But what if it was?

Echostar stumbled forward, weariness pulling numbly at his paws. He swung his head from side to side, eyes shut tightly. The scent of blood still hung heavily in the air but Nightfury's scent had faded. He struggled to open his eyelids and peeked from the bloody wound on his face. Blurs of shadows and colors whirled in his vision, marred by the trickle of blood. Good, at least he could still see, albeit badly. For sure he'd thought that slash would have blinded him, but it looked like Nightfury's aim had been straight down his muzzle. Heaving with relief, he gazed around through slitted eyes and spotted the blurry silver form of his mate. A choked gasp escaped his lips, "Dreamstar? Love, are you alright? He didn't hurt you did he?"
Fear knotted in the pit of his stomach, nostrils flaring to heave in Dreamstar's scent. It was clear of blood, but full of fear. If she wasn't injured, then why was she scared? But silent dark words echoed in his mind.
Cursed...

At the sound of her mate's voice, Dreamstar rushed foreward. She covered Echostar's cheek with licks, and a dry purr rose up from her throat. "You're okay! Oh, I was afraid that he'd hurt you." She examined the long scratch that ran down his face. "Is your eye okay? Can you see? Are you in pain?" She anxiously interrogated him. Panic danced silver in her frosty blue eyes, worry clouding her mind. Up until this point, Dreamstar hadn't thought one bit about where they were, and how they would get back. But she tried not to let those fears crowd over her concern for Echostar. Together, they could find a way out. Backwards. A way to turn back. To reverse this terrible fate.

Echostar's molten eyes softened, one of them pinched closed and the other narrowed in a slit. The lash upon his soft muzzle stung like a thousand bees, icy hot, but that was all. He was exhausted yes, but he wouldn't worry his mate. Feeling her warmth and touch, smelling her scent, and hearing her voice soothed him like the rush of cool water, slightly warm and star-tinged. He purred lowly, the sound tight and soft and hoarse. Craning his neck to lick her cheek in return, he spoke, "Yes love I'm fine. I'm alright. Just a nasty scratch. I can see, he didn't blind me love. I'm so glad you're fine."
Shakily lifting a paw, a streak of pain rushed through his veins like ice and it was all he could do not to scream. Shuddering, he weaved his body around his mate's and nuzzled her spine, purring softly. A single molten orb opened and gazed almost lazily around the cave, exhaustion making Echostar hazy in disbelief and denial. It had only occurred to him now how they could possibly escape. Tentatively, fragilely, he mewed, "Love, do you know where we are? How are we getting out?"
He didn't want to stay in this place more than they needed. It was too cold in this cave, too stiff, too lonesome, too...
secret.

Dreamstar shook her head dismally, taking comfort in the feel of Echostar's pelt pressing against hers. She got up from her seated position, and swayed on her paws. Her vision faltered, silver engulfing her from all sides. All her thoughts seemed to ebb away, and her head swirled and span. Dreamstar's limbs seemed to cramp up, and she felt like a feline made of stone. She couldn't move. Her claws couldn't dig into the smooth, cold stone, and she seemed to spin away into blackness, no cat hearing her silent screams for help. Her pleas for release.
Thump! Dreamstar landed hard on her paws, back in the forest strip on Windclan Territory. The moon still cast it's pale beams around her, and she took pleasure in seeing the frosty glitter of Silverpelt. But once again, her vision span out of control, and her heart raced. Eyelids heavy, Dreamstar plunged back into a black abyss. Unconscious.

Echostar stared at Dreamstar, watching with horror as her form seemed to fade in and out, her blue eyes clouded with anguish. His fur rose, his muscles tensing, and his throat catching around a lodge that prevented his scream. In the dark corners of his mind, he distinctly heard faint screams, echoing off the walls and making his tail straightened. The voice behind the screams was familiar, but the fear in those shrieks made it unrecognizable. He choked back a whimper, trying in vain to see from the sudden dark clouds that screened the cave. He felt, more than saw, Dreamstar fading away and panic rose in him but he was suddenly swept off his feet and sent sliding across an invisible black floor, gasping as he smashed into something solid.
Eyes dizzy and head in pain, he stumbled to his feet when he suddenly became aware of something. He could smell the wind. Echostar leaped up, ignoring the pain of his massive headache as he glanced around. Silverpelt shone above, unshaken and the clearing moved silently as the wind gently breezed around the canopy of trees and leaves. He breathed easily for the first time all night, feeling himself slide to the ground in relief. That's when he caught sight of his unconcious mate.
"Dreamstar!"

A voice echoed through her ears, and her head span. Drowsy eyes blinked open, then widened as Dreamstar caught site of her love. She slowly staggered to her paws, a deep purr rising up from her throat.
But concern crowded her mind. That wasn't just a dream. If it had have been, then why did Echostar still have a long, deep scratch across his face? Was it real? It had to be.
Dreamstar raised her paw, concern dancing wildly in her eyes. She gently traced the long scratch with one of her unsheathed claws, murmuring, "So, it was real. It was all real."
